I MADE IT !!!

I find that the Rhetorical Analysis Essay was the most difficult essay I had to write this year. I know that Mr.Thomas made it as easy as possible, but it's kind of hard to find Rhetorical Devices in random passages. Then it becomes even harder when you have to look for devices in passages that literally has no devices. I had this difficulty on the AP exam and it frustrated me, but I concentrated and I found 3. I even had to use tone as one of my devices, because it's difficult trying to remember devices and their definitions.

The easiest essay in my opinion was the Synthesis Essay. I know that people would expect this to be the hardest essay;however, if you just use your sources correctly then it becomes easier and you can embed your ideas into your essay even if you don't know anything about the prompt. What makes it even easier is that you don't have to use all of the sources, and you can cross out the sources that are irrelevant or sound too biased. The synthesis essay is just an essay that test your ability to understand sources and write an effective essay in a limited amount of time. Mr. Thomas instructed us very well on how to limit our time, and it has helped me.

I enjoyed In Cold Blood because it's actual event  that happened and it stirs suspense throughout the whole book. Its entertaining because it's about murderers and it kept me drawn into the book. I really enjoy non-fictional books and this happens to be my favorite.

My least favorite book unfortunately is the Things They Carried. It's not necessarily my least favorite, its just I didn't have that much time to get into dept of the book because I had so much other things going on. I like the book to be honest, but I just didn't have the patience.

Thank you for teaching me this year, and having the patience to deal with all of my mistakes. You are a good teacher and thank you for being clear on the things we needed to learn and not being so strict. It's been a relaxing year being in your class, and I hope you keep that trait.

Tron's personal character

One item that personally describes me is my beats by dre headphones. I've been having them for about a year and I take them with me everywhere I go. I love music and music seems to calm my nerves when I'm not having a good day. You wouldn't think I would have these expensive headphones, and thats because I'm not a flashy dude. Without my beats, I wouldn't even listen to the music of my phone. It's something I treasure because with music there's bass and sound effects and with my beats , I'm able to hear them

Ever since I was a kid , and by kid I mean 4 years old, I always wanted to be a football player. I had one unique thing about me though, I had a ton of speed for a kid, and I believe it was mostly genetics. As I got older, I knew what i wanted in life. I wanted to become a perfessional athlete. Thats my dream, and I work hard towards it everyday. I know theres people that are more talented, but Ill always outwork them 100 times more. If I succeed in track or football, I'll be 100% satisfied with my determination; However, the hustle doesn't ever stop.

My role model in life is Michael Johnson. He's the person I look up to, becaus he was the first olympian to capture the 200m and 400m gold at the same olympics. Not only are them my events, It's one of my dreams to make it to the olympics. He is one athlete that has had explained his techniques and I almost run similar to him. He's a good role on and off the track, he has never use illegal substences, he dedicated his life to this sport. Its the main reason why he inspires me to be all I can be.

Three adjectives I would use to describe myself would be dedicated, goofy, and hard-working. I'm dedicated because I spend hours and hours beating my craft, I practice damn near every day and I put alot of blood, sweat, and tears into the sports I play. People would describe me as goofy. I tend to always try to laugh because laughter heals wounds and it can make a bad situation not so bad. Life  is suppose to be full of emotions and I believe when you laugh, you're living a good life. People would also describe me  as hard-working and I tend to value this trait because if you want to get far in life you got to work your butt off. It inspires me to keep working harder to get to my goals in life.

I really don't have a specific memory that shaped me, but I have a collection of memories. All the times I've failed which means I let my coach down and lost a race or caused the football team a big play. Whatever it is, It has made me grind harder, because when I fail at something I get back up and fight harder to never have it happen again. I lost many races but Ive won more than I loss and a winner must know how it feels to lose first. I tend to fuel off my failures and its why I am where I am today. Anywho- This is the memories that shaped me.

Thank you for reading my blog 😁😁

The "Third" Option

As children of this generations we are expected to keep the legacy going that our parents set; however, we tend to break off into our own legacy. Successful people tend to be independent and try to own their own living. This is the reason our world gets more advanced every generation.

There are ways we can still live our own life and spread our culture to create a more culturally diversed world. One way is to show appreciation of traditions because they have a deeper meaning whether people understand it or not. We must show respect for the people that came before us before we break off into our own destiny.

Parents should understand that not everyone especially their kids have similar dreams as them. So they must be supportive to allow them to go their own direction in life. This is a struggle that parents face because their so stuck up in what they want for their child life, but never considered what the child wants. Both should spoken but the children should have the final say in what they want in life.

To conclude this idea, their indeed is a 3rd option in life. It just means that younger generations must show appreciation for the people who before them. It can be done and thats why our country will continue to grow and prosper with the young intelligent children that are born everyday.

Poe - The Horrific Writer

Edgar Allen Poe was an inspiration and start to many writers who write horror stories. Many scary stories today have House of Usher elements embedded within it. So its only fair that we pay our respects towards to the amazing author Poe.

The house of Usher feautured a few key elements such as setting, It describes the night as gloomy and dark with a miserable mist in the air. Already creates the dark horror scene.

The most important factor is the description of the house itself. It takes on a characteristic of a human being. Having its own seperate personality. Its a old house in almost perfect condition . That creates the question of how is the house managed

The description of Usher also created a horror tension, Usher being a sickly isolated man makes readers afraid to even mention the dude. Living alone? In a mansion? No wife, or kids? A spooky way to get the story going.

And finally we must pay tribute to the atmosphere. The atmosphere? Yes, simply because it magnifies the horror theme. The strong gust winds, dark gloomy night. The pure isolation accounts for the majority of the fear within the story.

Thats my post. Thank you 😏😏

Ouija Board - America's Fascination with the Occult

America has been a religious center ever since it was founded. The church controlled every aspect of life such as taxes, education, and criminal justice. The Salem Witch Trials proved to be the start of Amercia's Fascination with the Occult. People realized that they weren't the only ones in the Universe

The Ouija Board allows you to contact supernatural entities. A person would use a planchette to contact the spirit and recieve messages such as yes , no , goodbye and even sentences. It has an alphabet, numbers, yes, no, and goodbye.

Over the years people have been fascinated with Ouija boards and they were sold by Hasbro. Religious Centers and people outlawed Ouija boards because they knew the dangers of contacting evil spirits. Many churches warn against using the toy, and they were even burned in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Occultist banished the board from their homes and communities.

So whatever your belief may be, just know that many people have faced severe depression after using the Ouija Board. America finally realized that many things shouldn't be bothered, and thats Evil Spirits. Be cautious about what you do and Don't Ever Use A Ouija Board

Ichabod and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame - The Similar Anti-Hero

The Hunchback Of Notre Dame and Ichabod Crane are both humiliated throughout their life. They're presented as ugly and unwanted, but they both chased their dream girl. This proves the Anti-Hero characteristic of both Ichabod and The Hunchback Of Notre Dame.

Ichabod Crane and The Hunchback of Notre Dame was both presented as "Ugly" , The Hunchback had a huge hump on his back, and Ichabod had a wierd shaped head with a slim body figure. However, this doesn't stop them from chasing their goals and pursuing the woman of their dreams. Ichabod yearned for Katrina and The Hunchback wanted Esmeralda.

Ichabod and The Hunchback were humiliated in their town, Ichabod was humiliated and left a party terrified and came into an encounter with the headless horseman, and The Hunchback was unfortunately humiliated by the entire town by taking tomatoes to the face. You can guess that their self-esteem wasn't the best, but they both were willing to go the distance for their desires.

To conclude this comparison, neither Ichabod or The Hunchback Of Notre Dame got the girl. They both remained single. Ichabod vanished and The Hunchback never gained the love he wanted. Esmeralda ended up marrying her knight and shiny armor Captain Phoebus. You can use your imagination to find out what happened to Katrina.
I Got Her. WASSUP?

Where that scary cat Ichabod go?

HOPE YOU ENJOYED.
